CropLife Uganda is proudly represented at the Regional Validation Workshop of the EAC Draft Labeling Guidelines for Pest Control Products by our Chairperson, Mbabazi Agnes, along with member companies Jubali AgroTech and Nsanja Agro Chemicals in Nairobi, Kenya for a 3-days workshop from 5th-7th Nov 2024. The East African Community (EAC) is working to harmonize pesticide registration guidelines for pest control products across the Eastern Region. This initiative will streamline regulatory processes, enhance product safety and compliance, and improve ease of use for farmers and agro-dealers. By promoting sustainable agricultural practices, this harmonization will ultimately benefit farmers and stakeholders throughout East Africa.
Together, we’re working to create clear, consistent labeling standards that support sustainable and responsible agricultural practices across the region.
